History The order of Kappa Sigma began in 1400 at the University疏通马桶

of Bologna in Italy, when five students secretly banded together for mutual protection in the pursuit of learning. These young men were all disciples of a Greek scholar named Manual Chrysoloras, whose wisdom and example infused them with such dedication that they considered themselves to be sons of the same father, they considered themselves to be brothers. 疏通马桶

On December 10th 1869, five students at the 疏通马桶 University of Virginia met to establish this same society in America and the modern Kappa Sigma Fraternity was born. Founded upon the principles of Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship and Service, the brothers of Kappa Sigma Fraternity seek to continue in the traditions of their European brothers; be疏通马桶 lieving that "the ideals we pursue, determine who we are and what we will become."
